Tobgganing is fun for young and old. In the Wildkogel Arena, tobogganing has even become world famous - the toboggan run of the Wildkogel Arena is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “longest floodlit toboggan run in the world”! Here, you can dash down a 14 km long natural toboggan run into the valley. To get there you take the gondola lift up to 2100 m above sea level to the start of the toboggan run.
Before setting off, we recommend being indulging in some culinary delights in the sun on the terrace of the mountain inn, or drinking a “schnapps”for courage. On your toboggan, you’ll pass several ski lodges and ski bars during the descent, where you can take a break and enjoy fantastic views of the Salzach valley and the surrounding mountain scenery.
The toboggan run can also be ridden in the evening - it is illuminated until 8pm.
