The farmers' autumn

Neukirchen and the Salzburger Land region offer you not just the usual 4 seasons of the year, but 5! Here we also have the farmers' autumn. In the period from the end of August to the beginning of November, there are celebrations in the village squares, on the farms, at cattle drives and at the farmers' autumn inns. From the sociable "Hoagascht" (meeting, entertainment) on the village square with music and dancing to the big parade with all the active traditional associations, horse-drawn carriages and traditional music bands, everything is included.

During the Harvest Festival, you have the opportunity to get to know traditional rural life at craft demonstrations, hikes, cooking courses, harvest festivals, cattle drives and traditional events. More than 200 events make this "season" an interesting, entertaining and fun holiday time.
